Creativity of Victor Arshinov is widely known not only in our country. He is the author of talented works in painting, theatrical – decorative art, easel chart represented in museums of Tatarstan, Moscow, republics of the Volga and the CIS countries. Starting with 80 – s, the artist works hard on illustrating poetry. 1990 – 2013 years mark the most fruitful period in the works of Victor Arshinov, filled with daring conceptual and technical research. He creates graphic series to the poetry of Dante, T. Eliot, M. Tsvetaeva, G.Tukay, Jalil, and B. Akhmadullina.
Series of illustrations "The Immortal Song" – is the most large-scale of the graphic series of the artist, which was based on the cycles of poems of Musa Dzhalil "Moabit copybooks". The depth of reading of the poetic text, original figurative and composition solution in combination with individual graphic style were a universal language that allows to express complex range of feelings and thoughts. Chosen by the artist reception of combination of colour and tonal contrasts makes them sound shrill and powerful, fully conveying expression and drama of shaped structure of poetry of Musa Jalil. Appeal of the artist to military issues through the prism of heritage of poet hero Musa Jalil is fatefully, naturally and infinitely sincere. Father of Victor Arshinov had fought on the Leningrad front, as Jalil, mother was a prisoner of a Nazi concentration camp, and being the same age as the Victory, he belongs to a generation of people, many of whom are aware of the importance of maintaining the moral and spiritual values, inherited from their fathers and grandfathers. In 2008, for the creation of the graphic series "The Immortal Song" Victor Arshinov was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan behalf of Gabdully Tukaya.
